It may have been almost a decade since Mr Mike Baptiste stopped basketball, but remains an ardent fan Euroleague.

The great American center is constantly watching the top European competition, and he proved it as a guest on a Euroleague show. His former player Panathinaikou talked to him Kyle Hines and referred to the possibility of becoming a coach for the “greens”, while naming his favorite players in the Euroleague.

What he said in detail:

On the possibility of becoming a coach in Europe: “I never closed the door on these opportunities. My name is constantly linked with Panathinaikos, and you know how that goes, but these are just rumors to me. Nothing serious ever happened on my end. I’m totally open to anything.”

For his three favorite players in the Euroleague: “I always support my countrymen, you know what I mean. I love watching Mike James. Dwayne Bacon is also a player I coached in Charlotte and Orlando, I loved watching him at Panathinaikos. I really like watching Lorenzo Brown. These are players I really look up to.”
