Katsivelis: “I know what basketball Aris is – Let’s keep the crowd on the court”

He returned to his birthplace Dimitris Katsiveliswhich was announced by Mars.

The experienced guard did not hide his joy for the new challenge of his career, while he highlighted the effort that will be made in the new year, which will be particularly demanding, given the team’s participation in EuroCup.

In detail what he said:

“I am very happy to be here. All this time the approach from the coach and all the people of Aris showed me that there is great trust in me. They showed me how much they wanted me. I am very honored by this trust and I want to give my best, so that we can make something very good, worthy of the team and the world of Mars”.

On his return to Thessaloniki: “I’m from Thessaloniki, I know what Aris basketball is and how much people love this team. It is certainly a very good effort made in recent years, with a very competitive team. We will want to do something similar this year and certainly the team’s return to Europe and the EuroCup is something very positive, not only for Aris but also for Thessaloniki basketball. We want to make a remarkable run, to keep the crowd on the field and give them joy.”

For Yiannis Kastritis: “The work that coach Kastritis has done at Aris can be seen from the team’s performance. Aris is not an easy team and we see that they now have a stable coach for several years. This is credited to the coach with the work he has done on the field. His approach to me personally was very positive from the first moment and showed how much he wanted me to be here this year. It certainly played its part as well.”

For the world of Mars: “We will try to build a very competitive team and a team that will fight all the matches in Greece and Europe. This is what Aris fans want to see and we will do our best to satisfy them.”
