On Tuesday night (04/07), the northern suburbs club announced the acquisition of Emmanuel Sakicwho last season played in Super League 1 with his shirt Ioniancounting 26 league appearances.
Kifissia will be the fourth Greek stop of the 32-year-old Austrian back’s career, as, apart from the Ionian, he had also competed in Mars (2020-22) and Fearless (2018-19).

Emanuel Sakic was born on January 25, 1991 and started his career at Fortuna Wien, before joining the infrastructure departments of Rapid Wien.
From 2010 to 2013 he played for Florindsdorfer in Austria, while from 2013 to 2016 he wore the shirt of Austria Lustenau. He then played in Altach (2016/17 and 2017/2018), before moving to Greece on behalf of Atromitos.
He stayed at the Peristeri club for a season and a half, before returning to Austria for Sturm Graz (2019/20). From 2020 to 2022 he wore the jersey of Aris, while last season he competed in the Stoiximan Super League with the colors of Ionian.
In his years in Greece, Emmanuel Sakics has made 113 appearances in the Stoiximan Super League and another 12 appearances in the Hellenic Cup.
