Giorgos Kamperidis is the first addition for AS Karditsas ahead of the new Basket League championship. The Greek athlete will strengthen our team in the new season, adding talent as well as ability in the long shot.

Giorgos Kamperidis is 24 years old (born in Athens on October 1, 1999) and with a height of 2.01 he plays as a guard-forward.

He started playing basketball at the academies of Mandraikos and at the age of 17 he switched to Doukas, with whom he won the Panhellenic Youth Championship, while he himself was named MVP of the competition. In October 2017, he signed a professional contract with Panionios, where he stayed for three seasons (2017-2020). In the summer of 2020, he switched to PAOK, competing in the “Doubleheader of the North” for the last three seasons, until June 2023.

Despite his young age, he already has six consecutive seasons and 130 games in the Basket League, with 371 points, 87 accurate three-pointers, as well as 13 appearances in the FIBA ​​Champions League with PAOK. He also appeared in 36 international matches with the National Youth and Youth Men’s teams, with 265 points to his credit.
