The Hellenic Olympic Committee announces the names of the athletes – following the proposal made by the Hellenic Winter Sports Federation – who will represent us at the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, from 4 to 20 February 2022.
The athletes who will represent our country are Apostolos Angelis, Maria Danou and Nefeli Tita, who will compete in Endurance Roads and Ioannis Antoniou and Maria Eleni Tsiovolou in Alpine Skiing.
The coaches who will accompany the athletes in Beijing are Timoleon Tsourekas and Christos Titas for Endurance Roads and Stergios Pappos and Alexandros Tsaknakis for Alpine Skiing. The head of the mission is Demosthenes Gyrousis and the deputy head of the mission is Stratos Karetos.

She started her first athletic steps in EOS Naoussa, while from a very early age she chose the difficult road, choosing endurance roads as a sport. He has participated in two previous Winter Olympics, Vancouver 2010 and Pyeong Chang 2018 as well as in many World Championships. She has won the title of Panhellenic Champion many times while she is an active athlete of FISski representing Greece in international competitions since 2015. She is a member of the World Olympian Association (WOA) and works in the World Fencing Federation based in Elove.
Nefeli Tita: Nefeli Tita, was born in Florina on February 11, 2003, where she lives. She is an endurance street athlete and competes in the club AO Florina. He started skiing at the age of 4 due to the father of Christos Tita, a ski coach. She holds national victories in skiing, with the most important moment in her athletic career her participation in the Men-Women World Championship in Seefeld, Austria in 2019.
