Reinforcement in the midfield with Matus Begala for PAS Ioannina.
“Ajax of Epirus” announced the acquisition of the Slovak defensive midfielder, who signed a contract until 2025. The 22-year-old had been in the first days of the preparation of PAS and the data he showed made him Thanasi Staiko to recommend its acquisition.

PAS IAGNINA 1966 announces the signing of Slovakian midfielder Matus Begala who has signed a permanent contract until 2025. Begala was born on April 7, 2001 in Stara Lubovna, Slovakia and at the age of 12 he joined the academies of Zeblin Michalovce. At the age of just 16 in December 2017, he made his professional debut in the 1st division of the Slovakian league against Senica. He immediately won the trust of his coaches, as a result of which he became a key choice, counting 88 appearances and 3 goals as well as one assist until the end of the 2022-23 season when he left.
Begala is an international with all Slovakia’s minor national teams.
PAS Ioannina welcomes him to his family and wishes him success.
