Leko: “PAOK is a very good team, we learned a lot from the first game”

They count backwards in PAOK for the rematch of the 3rd qualifying round of the Conference League, in Toumba against Hajduk.

In the press conference ahead of the match, the coach of the Croatian team, Ivan Lekoemphasized that he and his players became… smarter after the first game, described PAOK as a very good team, while making it clear that in order for his team to qualify, they will have to present themselves calmly and with great self-concentration.

On whether the pressure is now on PAOK: “Perhaps, of course, things would have been much better for us if we had won at home. We will have to give our best to qualify, we want to qualify, just as PAOK wants to qualify, we will do everything we can to have our chances”.

About PAOK’s weaknesses:“We think we are smarter after what we saw in the first game. Both PAOK and us have our strengths and weaknesses. One thing is certain, we will have to stop his best players, we will have to show intelligence, calmness and great concentration”.

For the eleven that will line up in Toumba: “I never reveal the lineup before I reveal it to my players. Don’t expect big surprises. From the first game we learned that we will play good football against a very good team and we will have to stay grounded on the pitch”.

On his premonition ahead of the rematch: “I never think about what will happen, our main concern is to qualify”.
