UEFA rating: Consolidated in 19th place and Greece is optimistic!

In the disastrous 2022/23 season, the Greece collected only 2,125 pointscausing it to sink into UEFA rating.

This year, with the 3rd qualifying round completed in the European competitions (but AEK having a match against Dinamo Zagreb in two days), our country already has 2,100!

THE draw of Olympiakos in Genk and the PAOK’s victory over Hajduk Split they brought 300 points for our country, which is now established in 19th place with 22,225 points and has Croatia at -200, Poland at -225 and Sweden at -1,100.

The important thing is that our country will have minimum three teams in groups after three years (AEK, Panathinaikos, Olympiakos), while PAOK is now one qualification away from those of the Conference League.

At the moment, we have secured minimum 25 matchesfrom eight (2+6) for “greens” and Piraeus (playoffs & groups) and nine for Union, which also has the rematch with Dinamo.

Therefore, the conditions are there for a jump in the rating, which is necessary since 18th Czech Republic is 1,825 points awaywhile the Danes, the Israelis and the Ukrainians are much higher.

PAOK’s qualification against Hajduk, which was left out of Europe, is very important, while AEK also needs to make it 2/2 against Dinamo to complete the puzzle of successes against the Croatians who are… chasing us.

Of course, Dinamo has secured the groups, while the Conference playoffs also continues Rijeka. Except, on the other hand, Hajduk and Osijek are left.

And the Poles still have only one Rakov (minimum Europa) and Legia Warsaw (Conference playoffs).
