Balcerovski: ‘I had a panic attack when I fell – I would have ended Nurkic’s career’

They took a big fright in Poland and him Panathinaikos by Olek Balcherovsky.

The new center of the “greens” guided his country’s national team in the pre-Olympic tournament with another excellent performance. However, a few seconds before the end, he went down on his back after a very bad fall on his back, trying to complete an alley-up dunk in front of Jusuf Nurkic!

Afterwards, it appears that the Pole walked alone, albeit limping, to the bench, where he was in tears. Despite these scary images, however, the first news about his injury was reassuring, with him speaking in statements after the match about the phase and stressing that his shock was more psychological than physical. In fact, he faced the whole situation with humor, stating that if he had completed the nailing, it would have ended his career Nurkic!

In detail what he said: “I fell on my coccyx and my hip because it was on my left. I had a panic attack because I couldn’t breathe. I didn’t see anything, I just had the action before my eyes. Later, I thought “I’m glad I didn’t end the phase, I would have ended Nurkic’s career”. The knock on the coccyx is big, sometimes it bothers me in the leg too, but it’s not important now”
