In turn, the team coach, Vasilis Spanoulisargued: “We are starting a new season. What we ask is to have health which is the most important thing. The team entered a new philosophy from last year. We had a very successful year. We created goodwill for the players. We see that our team has changed, many players have left and gone to bigger teams or had greater financial benefits. It is something we want at Peristeri bwin, to improve the players, always through team success».

He added: “This year starts a new year with a completely different team, there are 5-6 kids left from last year and some kids from the academies, something we always look for because the academies are part of the club. We have built a team based on the character of the players and the characteristics that I want in the team. We hope to have a good year worthy of the expectations we have created since last year. I hope we can play beautiful basketball and bring people back to the court which is the most important thing for me».
