“PAE Olympiacos announces the acquisition of Omar Richards. The 25-year-old left-back was born on February 15, 1998 in Lewisham, England and at the age of 10 he joined Fulham’s academy.
In July 2016, he signed his first professional contract as a footballer with Reading, with the first team of which he made his debut in the 2017-2018 season, coached by Jaap Stam.
He made 104 appearances for Reading (92 in the Championship) and in May 2021 signed a four-year contract with Bayern Munich. In the 2021-2022 season with the Bavarians, he played 12 times in the Bundesliga, four in the Champions League and one in the German Cup.
In July 2022 he returned to England, as Nottingham Forest bought him. In October 2019, he made his debut with the England U21 national team.
