In detail, the announcement:

“The administration of TAA Athlos Orestiada is pleased to announce the start of cooperation with the athlete Eduardo Ramos Perez, in the context of further strengthening our team, in view of the Volleyleague season 2023-2024. Athlos Orestiada will be the fourth Greek team in the career of the 26-year-old former AEK centre-back, who will continue to compete in our country’s stadiums for the ninth consecutive season.

Born on September 13, 1997 in Trujillo, Venezuela, with a height of 2 meters, Eduard Ramos-Perez started playing volleyball in a team in his hometown. Due to the civil war in Venezuela, he traveled in 2015 to Greece, where he started to play as a diagonal player for National Piraeus. In his three years in the team, he led the “blues” to promotion to the Volleyleague in the 2017-18 season and in 2018 he transferred to Milos, with whom he celebrated another promotion to the Volleyleague as champion in the 2019-20 season.

The following year he moved to AEK, with whose “colors” in the last season he won the Preleague title as a central player and promotion to the top division of Greek volleyball. In addition to the gym, our newly acquired athlete also competes successfully on the sand, reaching high positions in the Panhellenic Championship.

In his first official statements as an athlete of Athlos Orestiada, Eduardo Ramos, who is expected on Wednesday, August 30 in our city, to be integrated into the team’s preparation, emphasized that: “I am very excited to compete in the shirt of Athlos Orestiada and I come determined to help the team achieve its goals.

We expect all the people of Orestiada to be close to us on the field and to support us as the seventh player, in order to reach as high as we can this year. Personally, I am ready to work hard in every training session to succeed. I wish we have a good season with success and no injuries.”

The management of Athlos Orestiada welcomes Edward to the club’s family and wishes him a healthy season with successes and distinctions on a team and personal level.”
