Upgrading the Panaitolikos stadium with a fund of 2.3 million euros

THE A pan-eater is proceeding with improvement projects at its stadium, with the Region of Western Greece notifying with its announcement that this is one of the three important projects in Aitoloakarnania and that there will be a fund of 2,353,000 euros to proceed.

Three important projects for Etoloakarnania were approved by the Economic Committee of the Region of Western Greece.

The submission of a proposal for inclusion of financing of three development projects for the P.E. Etoloakrnania was approved by the Economic Committee of the Region of Western Greece during the meeting held today, Tuesday, September 5, 2023.

In particular, the Economic Committee approved the proposal to join the EP Regional Development Program of Western Greece

a) the Upgrading of the Panaitoliko Stadium and the configuration of exhibition spaces, with a third sub-project and a budget increase to 2,353,000 euros, as well as

b) the Energy Improvement and Renovation of the GEA Papastratei Palace with a budget of 810,000 euros.

He also proceeded to approve the pre-admission of the new project “Rehabilitation and strengthening of the Pan-Etolic mountain refuge “Katelanos” with a budget of 420,000 euros in the Technical Program of the Region of Western Greece, financed by the Central Autonomous Resources.

“We are planning projects that leave their developmental footprint in Aitoloakarnania as well, precisely because we seek balanced development in the whole of Western Greece. The Economic Committee approved the proposal to include in financing programs three new projects amounting to 3.5 million euros that signal the prospect of making our place even more attractive not only for visitors, but also for the local community itself”said the District Governor Nektarios Farmakis.
