“Protection shield” to Gabriel Vega raised the Dani Carvajalfollowing the latter’s decision to accept her proposal Al-Ahli and to move to the Saudi Arabian league at the age of 21.
The young midfielder’s move to the Saudi Pro League had sparked several negative reactions, given that he is one of the biggest talents that Spanish football has produced in recent years, while at the same time he chose to leave Europe at such a young footballing age.
In fact, among others, the transfer was commented negatively by Toni Kroos.
Instead, Vega found support in the German’s Real Madrid team-mate, Dani Carvajal.
“He is only 21 years old and I completely understand his decision, since he accepted such a financially advantageous offer”declares the right defender of the “merenches” on the TV show “Universo Valdano”.
“When I went to Germany I signed a five-year contract, and the first thing I did was buy my parents a house. I come from a humble neighborhood, it’s understandable”concluded the experienced footballer.
