Letter of protest from Super League 2 referees – Claim unpaid for two years

by

Just before the start of her new league Super League 2 the referees of the category express their indignation because the latter two years remain unpaid.

The letter in detail:

“Shame! You really should be ashamed of yourself for treating referees like third class people.

For two years now, you have not paid the Referees, Assistant Referees and Referee Observers of the Superleague-2 of the second professional division, although you normally collect the expenses from the teams.

The Referees should have been paid before the games started as you tout that you implement the CAP but instead keep their money for other purposes.

Mr. President, in the meeting we had, you promised us that you would pay the referees from the money you will get from UEFA, you got the money but it went elsewhere!!! The Referees are still receiving!

Shame again! We call on all referees who have received money to report this immediately to the links they belong to so that we can initiate legal proceedings against both the EPO and the teams that owe money.

Yours sincerely,

For the Board of Directors / E.D. – O.D.P.E.

President Giannadakis Emmanuel

The General Secretary Karamanis Georgios”.
