The good of the national team, which unites the Greek fans and whose interest is everyone’s first concern, as was emphasized after the coach’s recent meeting with the president Evangelos Liolios, made this development imperative.
The competitive obligation that arose with the participation in the Pre-Olympic tournament in the first days of July 2024, cannot be combined with the increased obligations of Dimitris Itoudis in the Euroleague and the Turkish championship with Fenerbahce.
