Tedoglou is traveling all over the world to prepare

by

Miltos Tedoglou will be called to Paris to defend three gold medals in three major events and to achieve this he will need to make the best possible preparation. And he will need to do it far from Greece. The foundations that the world long distance champion will lay in the winter season will also be the ones that will keep him in good competitive condition until the Olympic Games.

George Pomaski’s athlete leaves next Monday for Antalya, Turkey, in order to do the first part of his preparation at the impressive “Gloria” training center, where he will remain until the 28th of the month.

The sequel will find him for a few days in Athens until he leaves for Cyprus for the second stage of his preparation, 6-20/11. Pomaski’s group, after celebrating in Greece, will depart for South Africa, 3-22/1 in a period where they will have already entered the pre-season ahead of the indoor events.

Tedoglou is one of the few Greeks who will not only take part in the World Indoor Championships in Glasgow (1-3/3), but will challenge to defend the gold medal he won two years ago.

The 25-year-old star’s next big goal is to make it three gold medals at the European Championships in Rome and defend the gold medal he won in 2021 at the Tokyo Olympics.

In the first part of the preparation next to Pomaski will be Emmanuel Karalis. The fourth pole vaulter at the Tokyo Olympics will be in Antalya for the main stage of his preparation.

The preparation will be followed by both Andreas Pantazis, who in the summer had a jump of 16.91 in the triple jump and showed that he is able to claim even bigger jumps, as well as Spyridoula Karydis, who in 2023 had devoted herself to her studies in dentistry and this year is expected to to throw her weight in training ahead of the top events in 2024.
