Declarations to a Dutch Midfielder about his football future, and not only, the former PAOK midfielder gave, Diego Bisesvar.

The 35-year-old footballer stated that he wants to continue playing football, adding that he had offers from greek teams, even her second category, but he rejected her. In addition, he emphasized that his goal is to compete in a club that will be in middle of the Eredivisie standings.

In detail what he said:

“I haven’t published anything about the end of my career yet, because I would like to continue playing. “Unfortunately, the options are not wide,” said “Bisse” first and then added: “I would prefer to find a club in Holland now, because I am here with the family. Children go to school here. I hope a Dutch club will take a look and take me.”

On whether he can play in the Dutch league: “I still think that I can play in teams that are in the middle of the Eredivisie standings. I’m still playing a lot of matches with Suriname and I’m doing pretty well, so hopefully some team in those positions will come in the Dutch league. I wouldn’t want to go to a team higher up, because then there would be a lot of pressure.”

On the fact that teams in the Netherlands prefer young players regardless of position in the standings: “The bottom-placed teams in the Eredivisie are also an option, there’s a different kind of pressure, I wouldn’t say no. I like helping new players.”

On the fact that he has not found a team from the Netherlands and on the offers he has had: “Obviously it’s not that easy to find a team in Holland. I had options from Turkey and Greece, even from the second category in Greece. Turkey and Greece are places I don’t want to go to right now.”

About the contacts he had with Dutch clubs: “It was early summer. I spoke to Fortuna Sittard, Tsvole and Almire City. I kept them at a distance because initially I preferred to stay abroad. Then they bought other players and now there is no room for this… young Artist (his nickname while playing for PAOK)”.

On whether he has high demands from the teams that want him: “Not at all! A few season tickets for the family, but other than that I don’t have many requirements. I just want to play football. For me playing is the most important thing. I’m still enjoying football and that’s what it’s all about.”
