Napoli beat Verona with a Quaratschelia show!

by

Passed through Verona Naples.

Return to winning ways after two consecutive defeats (one in the league and one in the Champions League) for the “Partenopei”, who prevailed 3-1 in “Bedegodi” in the context of the 9th matchday of Serie A. Respite for the champions, but also for Rudi Garcia thanks to the excellent game of… the usual suspect Kvaratshelia, but also Politano, with the former scoring twice and the latter having one goal and one assist.

In the 26th minute, Politano opened the scoring. Raspadori moved in from the left, pressed into the area and crossed, with Di Lorenzo unable to find the ball, which was laid to his unmarked team-mate who slotted home from close range.

The 30-year-old ace turned from scorer to creator in the 43rd minute, who put his team in front and distributed for Kvaratshelia who maneuvered and sent the ball into the closed corner of Modipo.

In the 55th minute, the Georgian went on the counterattack, entered the area and didn’t… see any of his opponents, scored and made it 3-0 and now has 3 goals and 4 assists in 8 appearances in Serie A.

Four minutes later, Lazovic thundered past Meret, scoring his first goal in his 6th appearance this season.
