Defeats for Anderlecht and Ghent – Union Saint-Jiloise relegated

Union Saint-Jiloise increased its gap with its pursuers! Anderlecht and Ghent they experienced defeats by Standard Liège (3-2) and Circle Bruges (2-0) respectively and were removed from the top, after 11 matches in the Belgian league.
