Announcement regarding the transfer of AEK’s friends who are in Marseille for the match with Marseille (26/10, 19:45), PAE issued.
In it, there are instructions for moving to the “Velodrome”, while it states that the gathering will take place at meeting point (Parc Chanot) which is set, is compulsory.
The announcement in detail:
“PAE AEK reminds the fans of our team who will be in Marseille that the ONLY way to get to the stadium is through their gathering at the meeting point designated by the French Authorities.
This is at PARC CHANOT, next to the Velodrome Stadium. The gathering of AEK fans at the said meeting point and their organized transition inside the stadium is mandatory. The meeting point will be open on the day of the match from 14.00 (the doors will open at 16.00) and there will be the first ticket check, while before entering the stadium there will also be a physical check by the Police.
At this particular point, tickets will also be collected from those friends of our group who have not already purchased them from Athens. Fans are therefore requested to get there on time and those who already have their tickets to move from 14.00 to the Velodrome, so as not to create delays in the flow of entry to the stadium. Those of our sports fans who have secured their presence at the stadium through the Original 21 club in London, will receive their tickets from the club representatives.
Attention: For serious security reasons, AEK fans who are ticket holders should not use alternative ways to get to the stadium! At the same time, we emphasize that the tickets for the game are sold out. Please do not attempt to approach the stadium without a ticket as security will be very tight.
AEK fans should remain in their seats after the match for safety reasons. They will leave after the order of the Police. At the same time, they are requested to be patient and to cooperate with the Authorities throughout their presence at the Stadium.
Also, those who intend to carry a banner onto the field should know that it is mandatory to have a certificate that it is made of non-flammable material. Otherwise, they cannot put it on the field. Banners with political or racist content are prohibited.
Also, drums, any kind of sharp objects, firecrackers, flares, as well as bags larger than an A4 sheet are not allowed on the field.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation.”
