They stuck to 1-1 and now PAS Ioannina and Volos are in serious danger! In a frenzied match at “Zosimades”, the two teams neutralized each other and remained in the draw but also at the bottom of the standings after 10 games in the Stoiximan Super League.

The image of PAS Ioannina is very bad, after leading in 50′ with Kiako’s goal“disappeared” until the final whistle and paid for it from the “golden”, as it turned out, change of Costa Bratsos, Maximiliano Kobawhich tied at 73′ with a header for the final score.

A difficult task next weekend for “Ajax of Epirus” who travel to Heraklion to play a crucial match against OFI. Aris will be welcomed by Volos in Panthessalikos.

In the minds of the coaches:

For the hosts o Thanasis Staikos Kleiman chose him in goal and Soria, Eramouspe, Pantelakis, Tsaousis in the four defense. Karahalios with Kiako in the axis, while behind Pamlidis and Conte Rienstra and Rossero were moving.

On the opposite bank, Kostas Bratsos, put Simeon Papadopoulos under the crossbar. Tachatos, Tsokanis Kalogeropoulos and Luna made up the defensive quartet. In the center Bertoglio, Glavsic and Trouillet, while the offensive trio will be staffed by Deletic, Cornet and Garcia.

The match:

With the best conditions, the match started in “Zosimades” with the players of both teams catching up with the “good evening” at a high pace. Volos was the one who, in the first five minutes of the match, had the initiative of the movements, circulating the ball more and easily reaching the vicinity of Kleiman’s area.

However, PAS was the first to threaten in the match. Just in 8′ Rossero stole the ball, entered the area, crossed the ball against Trouillet and went out for a corner. The response of the guests came to 12′ when Bertoglio shot from outside the area, with the ball ending up in Kleiman’s arms.

The pattern of the match was the same and PAS threatened again. THE Pamlidis in the 14′ he stole the ball in the center area, made the race and passed vertically to Rienstra who made the overlap in the area, but Kalogeropoulos made a save before passing the ball to Count.

PAS again in the foreground after three minutes. Beautiful development, with Rossero laying right on Soria’s new overlap, he shoots but the ball goes wide. The tension didn’t miss a moment and in the 28th minute, the home team won a free-kick thanks to Pamlides’ astuteness. Conte took over the execution, with the ball going over the wall and Simeon Papadopoulos clearing.

Something similar happened on the opposite side, with the completion of half an hour in the match. Foul for Volos with Bertoglio putting the ball too low and Kleiman falling to his left corner for a corner which went wide.

The last moment for the first part was from the PAS side. Pantelakis cut in at 40′, he immediately made the pass to Rosero who crossed the second post. However, Pamlidis’ header went over the crossbar.

PAS Ioannina-Volos

The second half started with Thanasis Staikou’s team pressing and making their first final in the 48th minute. Soria made the vertical pass to Kiakos, who entered the area, brought it to the left and shot but sent it wide. What the PAS midfielder did not manage at that point, he did two minutes later.

With 50 minutes to go, Soria made one of his signature moves from the right, crossing with Kiakos perfectly left-footed into the far corner of Papadopoulos for 1-0.

PAS Ioannina-Volos

This goal, however, instead of giving “wings” to the players of Staikos, seems to have made those of Braços stubborn. The coach of Volos made changes in order to give measures to his team on the pitch.

The actions of the Greek coach paid off as initially in the 71st minute from a free kick from the left, Kalogeropoulos found himself alone in the area and made a header, but sent it wide. However, the Magnesia team managed to equalize the match after two minutes. Luna’s cross from the left, with Koba wedged in the defense and beat Kleiman with a header to make it 1-1 to make Bracho’s ‘golden’ substitution.

PAS Ioannina-Volos 1-1

The visitors did not settle for an equalizer and chased the breakthrough, pressing the length and breadth of the pitch in order to take advantage of the home team’s fatigue. The two coaches made further changes by refreshing their lines.

However, until the end, nothing changed with PAS and Volos “messing up” early in the league and now looking for a streak to get off the bottom of the standings.

MVP: Until the 74th minute, the title of the best player of the match was tightly held by o Soria. However, the choice of Costa Bratsos to pass the match Maximiliano Kobait was she who anointed the Argentinian midfielder as MVP as he was the one who saved the “lot” for the Magnesia team.

The “whistle”: Very serious game from him Tasso Sidiropoulos in “Zosimades”. The international Greek referee was in control throughout the match, made correct use of cards, while he did not have to go to the VAR for a single moment, taking advice via the intercom.
