Kastritis: “We won a great victory, the most important to date”

Aris’ victory over Buduchnost in Montenegro was spoken at the press conference by Yannis Kastritis.

The Greek coach emphasized, among other things, that his team got a great result, which was also the most important so far in the season.

His statements in detail:

“It’s a huge win and the most important yet. We knew what a quality team Buduchnost is. My players did a very good job and sacrificed their bodies. They deserve this victory and I send all my love to the fans of the team, to whom I dedicate it. We did the best we could. We had a great victory. The organization has a very high level and the team goes above and beyond. I am proud”.

On the topic of offense and defense: “We all have to understand that the level is high. The team overachieves in every match. We must be happy and proud of our participation in Europe, we are the outsiders but we already have three wins. This takes a lot of effort. It is not easy both in defense and in attack, in away matches, to be demanding. The important thing is to show progress, we saw that today. I said that in December we will be ready, in terms of homogeneity and chemistry. Sooner or later, what concerns us in the attack will come. However, we are not playing so badly in attack…”.

For De Souza and Katsivelis: “Dimitris played tight in the middle today! He had a problem but he came in and played. I mention this because something may be going on that we don’t know about. Children get too emotional, put pressure on themselves. The management did a tremendous job to have a rich roster. The team gives 100%, I am happy with everyone.”
