National basketball: Spanoulis’ associates

The Men’s National Team has for some time now had a new coach, Vassilis Spanoulis, and now the staff of his partners is being staffed. Ilias Kantzouris, Stefanos Triantafyllos and Diamantis Panagiotopoulos will be the members of the technical staff and Andreas Gatzoulis the team’s fitness manager.

Ilias Kanzouris is the coach of the French team Limoges and has previously been a member of the technical leadership of the Men’s National Team, as Andrea Trinchieri’s partner in 2013 in that year’s EuroBasket.

Stefanos Triantafyllos is a partner of Giorgos Bartzokas at Olympiakos and is a member of the technical staff of the Men’s National Team from 2021, alongside Dimitris Itoudis at Eurobasket 2021 and the World Cup 2022.

Diamantis Panagiotopoulos is a partner of Xavi Pascual at Zenit Saint Petersburg and was on the technical staff of the Men’s National Team in 2017, as a partner of Kostas Missas in that year’s Eurobasket. He has also participated in the technical staffs of the National U18 and U16 teams.

Andreas Gatzoulis has been the Olympic gymnast since 2008, while Vassilis Spanoulis has known and worked together since Larissa and then in Marousi. He has worked for a national team in China, during the tenure of Panagiotis Giannakis.
