For the course of the bwin Pigeon: “We could be 6-2 or 3-5. This is basketball. In the long run, the deserving teams will show it. It’s a big league. We lost two matches in double overtime and on points. He who works hard will get what he deserves.”

For the draw of the Pre-Olympic Tournament: “I didn’t know who we were playing, we had the match. It doesn’t matter who we play. The important thing is that a world sporting event will take place in our country. I want to see a full stadium, let it be a celebration. From our side we will work hard. Big thumbs up to EEC for bringing the tournament to Greece, it’s a great social and sporting event. In 2008 we had magical moments in Athens. This is what we have to do now, to bring basketball into the homes of all people.”

For Giannis Antetokounmpo: “It’s still too early. We want everyone to be healthy and have good years. I have spoken with Giannis, he told me how much he loves the National Team. We want the year to pass with health.”
