Efes was nervous but celebrated the marginal victory in the derby with Fenerbahce


He struggled, but took the narrow victory with 81-80 in the big derby with Fenerbahce for the 11th matchday of the Turkish championship Effects!

Erdem Can’s team maintained their “safety” lead in the third period, entering the fourth period with a +10 (69-59), but Fenerbahce found a way back again, reducing to 77-76, a few minutes before the finale. With the match drawing to a close, Fener had the chance to pull off the big upset, but the Hey missed a buzzer-beater three-pointer, with the 81-80 to remain.

Euroleague games follow for both teams, with Efes facing Maccabi Tel Aviv in Belgrade (14/12, 21:05) and Fener hosting Monaco (15/12, 19:45).
