Not even now a win for Bilbao in Granada

Another year without a win for Bilbao at “Los Carmenes”. The Basques drew 1-1 away to Granada in a game that resumed from the 17th minute after it was interrupted by the death of a fan in the stands.

In fact, Ernesto Valverde’s team did not manage to get the three points (their last win in Granada was in 2016) with the score already in their favor as the match was stopped 1-0 after William’s goal in the 6th minute, while the equalizer came in the 55th minute with an own goal by Ruith de Galaretta.

With this draw, Bilbao stayed in 5th place, tied with Sociedad, while Granada remains penultimate.

In today’s other match, Rayo Vallecano and Celta also played out a scoreless draw. The protagonist of the match was Telta’s goalkeeper, Guaita, who was excellent and stopped several of the home team’s attempts. For the guests, this was the third draw in a row, but they remained in the relegation zone.
