In another western derby, the Timberwolves cruised past Dallas 119-101 with 27 points from Naz Reed off the bench and another 21 from Karl-Anthony Towns, who also had 17 rebounds. Luka Doncic’s 39 points and 13 rebounds weren’t enough for the Mavericks, who were playing without the injured Kyrie Irving.
The ascended ones Clippers handed the Warriors their third straight loss, 121-113 in LA. James Harden had 28 points, 15 assists, 7 rebounds and 4 blocks, while Kawhi Leonard had 27 points.
