Mota: “Mihailovic showed us that in difficult times we should never give up”
One year since his huge loss Sinisa Mihailovic is completed today, with the once great football player, coach and man losing his battle with leukemia and passing away at the age of 53.
The current coach of Bologna, Thiago Mota, he remembered the Serb and stressed that his team will have an extra motivation against Roma on Sunday, wanting to win for him.
“In times of difficulty he never gave up, he is a great person in sports and life. He passed it on to me and the boys and a lot of people around the club. Obviously our thoughts are with his family.
The important thing is that in difficult times he showed us to never give up, this will be remembered not only by me but also by many people, the people who had the luck and the privilege to share beautiful moments with him. He’s an extra boost and an extra stimulus for this team for Sunday: he can be with us and give this team a hand to keep developing.”Thiago Motta said at the regular press conference.
