Shortly after the break, the Bournemouth and Luton players and coaches returned to the pitch, applauding the crowd for their support of Lockyer (which collapsed for the 2nd time in 7 months) and the audience reciprocated.
Luton manager Rob Edwards was visibly moved and could not hold back his tears.
