Awesome and terrible PAOKpassed like a siphon from Kesariani and will celebrate Christmas from the top!

The “double-header of the North” prevailed 6-0 Kifissia for Matchday 15 of the Stoiximan Super League, in a game they dominated from start to finish, with the exception of a three-minute spell from 16′ to 19′, taking yet another win this season.

Razvan Lucescu’s team had six different scorers, with Constantelia, Thomas, Despodov, Murg, Tsingara and Ozdoev to find nets, indicative of the pluralism presented by the Thessalonians this year.

At the rating level, PAOK remained at the top of the standings and went to 35 points, leaving Panathinaikos at -1, while taking advantage of AEK’s gela with Panserraikos, opening the gap from Union to three points, as well as from Olympiakos, which has less matches.

In the minds of the coaches:

THE David Nielsen in his second game on the bench of Kifissia, he chose a 3-4-3 system, with Anagnostopoulos under the posts and a defense trio of Vafea, Landr and Botia. Loumor covered the left side, while Masouras was on the right, with Konstantakopoulos and Papasavva as central midfielders. In the attacking trio, Tetei took the starting jersey on the left, with Mateus Santos on the right and Ozegovic at the top of the attack.

On the opposite bank, Razvan Lucescu, in the last composition of PAOK for 2023 he kept his favorite 4-2-3-1. Kotarski is in goal, while in the back four from right to left are Sastre, Ekong, Michaelidis and Rafa Soares. In the midfield, Ozdoev and Meite took the starting jersey, with Constantelia, Despodov and Murg making up the trio in the midfield behind Thomas.

The match:

From the start of the match, PAOK took possession, made his play and renewed their attacks with steals in the midfield area. In the 6th minute, Ozdoev saw Despontov beautifully in the area, but Botia took the bite out of the Bulgarian’s mouth which he failed to execute. The “two-headed man of the North” was constantly in front and in the 13th minute he opened the scoring with Constantia! The young Greek midfielder played well with Murg, found space and took the shot, with the ball finding Vafeas a little and ending up in the net for 1-0.

The “two-headed of the North” lost its concentration in the following minutes, with Kifisia having two excellent chances to equalize, but not turning them into goals. Initially, in the 16′ from the right Masouras came out on the back of Rafa Soares and made the turn, the Ozegovichowever, having an empty net, he did not send the ball into the net, while in the 19th minute Michaelidis, with a wrong transfer, allowed Mateus Santos to pass him and share the Loverwho took the shot, with the ball going wide.

The “black and white” then took control again and in the 28th minute they “doubled” their goals! Nice move by Despodov from the right, excellent pass into the area Thomaswho executed perfectly to the right of Anagnostopoulos for 2-0.

In the 34th minute, Despontov threatened with a strong shot, but Anagnostopoulos told him “no”, sending it to a corner, with the Bulgarian finding the net in the next phase! A wonderful ball from Constantelia on Loumor’s back, the 27-year-old received the ball and executed in an ideal way for PAOK’s third goal. Somehow, the half ended with the Thessalonians having locked up the three points, taking advantage of their efficiency, but also the clear quality difference they had in contrast to the Northern Suburbs team.

Razvan Lucescu’s side continued to keep their foot on the gas and in the 52nd minute scored another goal to make it 4-0, as after an excellent counter-attack Constantelias passed to Despodov and he turned to Murg, who emptied Masoura and sent the ball into the net. Substitutions then killed the game, with Thomas scoring in the 67th minute but seeing the referee disallow it for offside.

In the 72nd minute, Rafa Soares missed a great opportunity, after the shot he attempted found the crossbar, with PAOK extending the score to 5-0 in the next phase. Corner kick taken by Despodov, he jumped higher than everyone else Ozdoev and with a header he left no room for Anagnostopoulos, with the Russian contributing in all areas of the game. The final 6-0 was formed by Cricketin a phase that started from Sastre’s set-piece, Anagnostopoulos intercepted the ball, with Gobelic following up, but he hadn’t seen the Greek midfielder who came up behind him and scored another goal for the league leaders.

MVP: Magic Kirill Despodov. The Bulgarian was excellent, most of the balls went through his feet, scoring PAOK’s third goal, while he also handed out three assists in what was probably his best appearance in the shirt of the “two-headed man of the North”.
