The Eurobank group will no longer be the main sponsor of the national basketball teams, with the conditions of the time leading to the end of this form of cooperation, which was the longest in Europe, but by no means the close ties between the two sides. It goes without saying that a common course of 21 years, which, among other things, was associated with two of the greatest successes of the sport in the country, in 2005 and 2006, creates indelible memories.

Both the formal end and the lasting ties between the two sides were sealed today (9/2) in the meeting that took place at the headquarters of the banking group, where the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Eurobank Mr. George Zanias, the CEO of the Bank Mr. Fokion Karavias, the Deputy Chief Executive Officer Mr. Stavros Ioannou and the General Manager of Marketing and Corporate Communication Mr. Michalis Vlastarakis, welcomed the EEC delegation consisting of the President of the Federation, Mr. Vangelis Liolonos and the Director General Liotinos. .
