Aris announced Nesimovic

Nina Nesimovic is the new center of Mars. The “yellows” announced the signing of the 27-year-old Austrian for the rest of this season, to help them in their attempt to escape from the bottom positions of the Women’s Volley League.

Nesimovic made her debut last Saturday against Apollonios, while before coming to the “yellows” she was competing in Romanian Voluntari.

In detail, the announcement:

“AS Aris and the women’s volleyball department announce the acquisition of Nina Nesimovic for the 2023-24 season. The 27-year-old volleyball player was born on November 8, 1996 in Austria and competes in the central position. She took her first professional steps from ATSE Graz for two years. In the 2013/2014 and 2014/2015 seasons, she spent her term at the Austrian SG Eisenerz/Trofaiach.

From 2015 to 2019, he played for UVC Holding Graz. In the year 2022-2023 he went to Turkey for Bahcelievler Belediyespor, while half of 2023-2024 he went to Romania for CSO Voluntari 2005.

In her debut against Apollonius, she scored ten points with five blocks and five finished attacks and helped our team’s important double. She is also one of the top Austrian volleyball players and has many appearances for the national team, while she was a key member of the team that took second place in the Silver League.

After the agreement with the Aris women’s volleyball team, Nina Nesimovic said: “Everything happened very quickly in terms of my transfer to the team. I arrived exactly one day before the match and I must say that I immediately felt welcomed by my teammates and the coaching staff. I felt like I was in the team by air. I met a very nice team atmosphere in the first training session and I’m sure it will be a good year at the end, as the team has a lot of potential.”
