“My first thoughts were positive and my decision to come to Panathinaikos was much easier because the clear plan they had for me and the trust they showed in me after a difficult injury and a difficult period for me was very important .

-What the serious injury he had taught him:

“First of all, I have never been injured in my football career. It was an injury and… a good one they say. It was an unfortunate moment but it happens to every footballer. We’ve seen too many footballers get cruciate. It was something unprecedented for me, I had never felt it before. It was something very difficult.

Especially when I got it the pain was unbearable. And in the first month and a half of my recovery I was in a lot of pain, but my friends helped me, my family helped me… I overcame it and my knee is in very good condition right now. I’m doing my mobilization and some exercises before training starts and I’m over it and we’re moving on.”

-For his goal at Panathinaikos:

“Yesterday (Wednesday 3/1) I saw the team up close for the first time. I had seen some games while I was in Germany and could because I had a heavy schedule.
