Born on 23/08/1996, Markos Galiotos plays as a passer and is 195cm tall.

He started his professional career in the 2014-15 season, playing for AON Argyroupoli.

The following season (2015-16) he competed with the OSFP jersey, winning the Greek Cup and the Super Cup.

In the 2016-17 season he played for Iraklis Chalkidas, while the next (2017-18) was his first, outside of Greece, playing for Orkelljunga Volley, from Sweden.

In the 2018-19 season he returned home to play for Panathinaikos, while the following season (2019-20) he again chased his dream abroad, playing for VCA Amstetten NO, from Austria.

The 2020-21 season found him in Crete and more specifically in OFI, while the next one (2021-22) found him on an island, but in Syros, playing in the Phoenix jersey. In fact, with Josko Milenkoski as coach, Markos Galiotos won the Super Cup that season.

He stayed at Foinikas Syros for the 2022-23 season as well, with his performances opening the door to the National Team, with which he competed in the 2023 European Championship. In the first half of this season, he competed with the Foinikas jersey and now he comes to Thessaloniki on behalf of PAOK.

Regarding the start of cooperation with PAOK, Markos Galiotos stated on the Association’s official website, acpaok.gr:

“I am very happy to be at PAOK, it is a move I have wanted to make for many years now. It’s presented itself now, and I think it’s a very good opportunity, which I have to take advantage of and help my new team as much as I can. The team is on the rise and we want to continue this, chasing as many as we can. Very important in my decision was the coach, Josko Milenkoski, with whom I have worked in the past. I feel very comfortable with him and I’m glad he chose me. PAOK is a very big team, chasing all the titles every year”.

Welcome to PAOK, Marko! »
