UEFA fines Panathinaikos and AEK

More than a month has passed since the completion of the groups of the European competitions, however the UEFAcontinues to announce team punishments.

THE Disciplinary Committee of the European football confederation, announced that both Panathinaikos and AEK are not missing from the specific list of teams.

The “greens” were therefore initially punished for the match of the 5th game with the Villarreal in “Theramika” for the following incidents recorded by the UEFA observer:

With 10,000 euros for damage caused by his fans in her stadium Villarreal based on article 16(2)(f) DR, with information that there should be direct communication with the Spanish team “to cover the damages”.

Subsequently, for the Leoforos match against Panathinaikos, he was punished for the following:

– Blocking runways on platforms, Article 38 SSR: 22,000 euros

– Use of a laser pointer, Article 16(2)(d) DR: 22,000 euros

– Throwing objects, Article 16(2)(b) DR: 5,875 euros

– Lighting fireworks, Article 16(2)(c) DR: 13,750 euros

– Banner with political content Article. 16(2)(e) DR: €10,000.

On the other hand, AEK was fined 41 thousand euros for the behavior of its fans in the match against Ajax in Amsterdam.

Of these, 16,000 euros pertain to the use of lasers and 25,000 euros in the disruption of order by the fans.
