For what went wrong: “I think we said before the game that we expected to do better things in our attack, not just to score but to have better options. The opposition played better than us today, they played harder, they played very close to the foul line and they took us out of rhythm. We haven’t conceded too many, I think offensively we didn’t have the right decisions and the right pace to control the game.”

On whether the toughness was lacking in the defense: “Yes I mentioned it before, we end the half with 6 fouls. This shows the fact that we were not putting our bodies and our hands as much as we could have and as much as the referees could have let that happen. It was a game we deservedly lost, Zalgiris played better, we have to win the next game against Fenerbahce, we are on the right path and in the right position, but we definitely need away wins to be able to keep the advantage.”

On what went wrong and Panathinaikos couldn’t touch the ball on the racket:“We had a good period in the first half when we passed the ball to Lessor and charged the opposing five with a foul and scored baskets as well.
