Leverkusen, Kaiserslautern and Fortuna Dusseldorf they have already secured their place in the German Cup semi-finals, however Saarbrücken and Gladbach they will still need to wait to claim the fourth and final ticket.
You see, the match that would take place at 21:45 on Wednesday (07/02) postponeddue to the bad weather conditions that prevailed in Saarland and resulted in the waterlogged Ludwigspark pitch not being able to host the match.
Despite the efforts of the stadium people to rectify the situation, this was not possible, resulting in the match not being played.
The DFB is expected to set a new date soon, something that should be easy in theory since neither team has other commitments other than the league.
It is noted that draw for the semi-finals will take place as usual on Saturday (10/02), with Saarbrucken and Gladbach entering as a pair in the draw.
