Ali Samata spoke about the hard work that PAOK has done in order to win the derby with AEK.

The Tanzanian striker, speaking to Nova’s camera, referred to his team’s preparation for tonight’s match, spoke about his condition after the Africa Cup of Nations, while stating… he is sure that the Nigeria of his PAOK teammate, William Trost-Ekong , can win the trophy.

Analytically:

For his condition: “I feel that I am at 100%. I’m fine. My experience at Copa Africa was very nice and to be honest I really enjoyed it. I think I have fully adapted to the team now, I have fully understood the team’s way of playing. I came back from the African Cup of Nations and I am 100% for PAOK”.

On whether he watched PAOK while he was away: “Yes, I was watching PAOK. I only missed 1-2 games because we had training at the same time. But I was regularly updated, I watched as much as I could and of course I talked to my teammates.”

For the Ekong final: “I bet he’ll beat him.”

Regarding whether PAOK also has a final against AEK: “Very important game for us. We are working very hard for this and I think we will be ready to face them. We respect the opponent, as we always do. We will prepare very well and we will go to play our game and win the match”.

On what PAOK should do: “I shouldn’t say what we will try to do in the game. These are internal issues and you will see them on the pitch. What we want to do is win the game. We lost in Athens 2-0 and we know it’s a difficult match. We basically want to have an informal rematch in Thessaloniki. We have worked very hard, we have a clear plan and I believe we have the ability to win. That will be proven on Sunday.”
