AEK: Six lost points after 85′ from the air

THE AEK lost a huge chance to be alone at the top of the Stoiximan Super League by accepting the equalizer in the 89th minute from PAOK for the final 1-1 in the Toumba derby.

The “yellow and black” for the third time in the current season lost two points in a game that held the victory by accepting goal after the 85th minute. In fact, by… diabolical coincidence, the equalizer has come from the air and from the inability of the yellow and black defense to remove the danger.

In the 10th matchday, on November 4, AEK was tied in the final 1-1 by Kifissia by Vafeas in the 85th minute.

On December 21, for the 15th matchday, the “Union” was cold-blooded by the Panseraic with Thymianis taking advantage of Athanasiadis’ mistake and equalizing at 2-2 in the 94th minute.

And, yesterday, on February 11, 2024, for the 22nd matchday, Kenziora’s header in the 89th minute denied AEK the victory in Toumba against PAOK.

In total, six points lost which cost AEK dearly in the course of the championship.

In fact, the “Union” had… flirted with Gela in a similar way in the 6th matchday, on September 28 against Fearless at the Opap Arena, when Sidibe was sent off by taking a penalty and Andrzejski had equalized in the 89th minute, with Gacinovic – however – giving his team the victory (2-1) with a penalty in the 95th minute.
