Raul Garcia: Third player in La Liga with 600 appearances, the bionic Spaniard of Athletic Bilbao

Tireless and ageless, he continues Raul Garcia which in last night’s match against the Almeria completed 600 appearances in La Liga.

The Spaniard helped the maximum with 17 goals and 6 assists in 53 appearances while also earning his first call-up to the National team. With Atlético, he got it championship in Spain 18 years after the previous one, while he arrived one breath away from his trophy Champions Leaguebefore Sergio Ramos (No. 8 on the list with 522 appearances) spoiled the dream with a goal in the 93rd minute.

The 37-year-old’s next stop in 2015 was his current team, Athletic Bilbaowith which he scored with tremendous consistency in his first seven years there, having fortunately reached 83 goals and 40 assists in 352 appearances, winning the Spanish Super Cup in 2021 with an overtime win against Barcelona.
