King Charles returned to London to undergo cancer treatment after his first public appearance at Sandringham.

According to Daily mailthe 75-year-old monarch landed at Clarendon House in the royal helicopter after spending a week in Norfolk following the announcement of his health problem.

Photographs show him with his wife Queen Camilla at his side as the royal couple were heading to nearby Clarence House.

The Queen last week said that her husband he was doing well “extremely good under the circumstances” and that underwent his first round of cancer treatment last week. In fact, he said that King Charles had been “overwhelmed” by all the messages of support he had received from the public.

Yesterday, Charles was seen in his first public appearance since starting regular treatments walking to church in Sandringham with Camilla.

On Saturday spoke for the first time to express his heartfelt thanks for the messages of support and said he was “touched” to hear his experience was inspiring others so they can hurry to be checked.

Charles announced last week that he was postponing all public engagements while you are being treated for the cancer, which doctors found while he was being treated for a benign prostate condition.

It is considered that the King will also have face-to-face meetings in London this week despite his ongoing cancer treatment.
