Panathinaikos is asking for special attention from its fans in today’s game against Lamia, in which the team’s fans will “attend” the Avenue for the first time after the end of the government’s measures.
Panathinaikos’ announcement in detail:
Today is a great day for all of us, because after two months, we will be together again, team and fans at our stadium, at “Apostolos Nikolaidis”, with one and only goal: to achieve the goal of the return of our Panathinaikos there as befits him, at the top!
The return of our fans to the Avenue stands for tonight’s game (8.30pm) against Lamia will have to be done exactly as the circumstances warrant, so that our footballers have until the end of the season the huge advantage of the atmosphere that is created in our home. The new law is particularly strict, providing for “heavy” penalties for anything that goes beyond the sporting framework. These penalties are immediately applicable and include up to and again banning the fans from entering the stadium.
Not the slightest right should be given. It would be unfair to the team’s effort (and also to the vast majority of the world) to deprive fans of the possibility of attending the next crucial – to achieve our goals – games because someone acted recklessly. In order to protect our headquarters, everyone’s cooperation is necessary.
Therefore tonight on the Boulevard the lighting – and of course the throwing – of torches, firecrackers, smoke generators, flares and all kinds of sparklers is strictly prohibited. The throwing of bottles and objects, the use of lasers, banners with political and abusive messages are also prohibited. Even a single incident is enough to close the stadium again at the very next home game.
Stadium gates will open at 6 p.m. and due to the strict checks that will be carried out, the fans who have tickets for the specific match, are invited to arrive in time, in order to avoid overcrowding, inconvenience and delay in their access to the stands, thus contributing to smoothness.
With the new law, any sports fan who does not have a registered ticket not only cannot enter the stadium, but is also fined 500 euros by the Police. During the identity check, in case a sports fan is found with a ticket in another name, both the holder and the beneficiary will be fined ten times the value of the respective ticket, a penalty of exclusion from the stadiums will be imposed, while the PAE will be punished by closing the door , where the violation occurred.
There will be six (6) pre-check points at the stadium to check tickets and ID.
In detail, the pre-checks are as follows:
Pre-check 1
Streets: Armatolon and Klefton & Panathinaikos
Pre-check 2
Streets: Filimonos & Tsocha
Pre-check 3
Streets: Tsocha & P. Kyriakou (on Tsocha)
Pre-check 4
Streets: P. Kyriakou & Tsocha (on P. Kyriakou)
Pre-check 5
Streets: P. Kyriakou & L. Alexandras
Pre-check 6
Streets: Panathinaikou & L. Alexandras
Particularly:
- The ticket holders of doors 13-14will pass exclusively through them Pre-checks 1 & 6.
- The ticket holders of doors 8-9-10-11-12will pass through them Pre-checks 2 & 3.
- The ticket holders of doors 6-7will pass through them Pre-checks 4 & 5.
- Concerning ports 1-2-3-3B-5fans will be checked exclusively at the gates.
The control of fans at the pre-check points does not invalidate the control at the gate entrances.
By decision of the Greek government, the physical control of the fans at the pre-checks and upon entering the gates of the stadium will now be carried out by the Greek Police and will be thorough and particularly strict.
We support our Panathinaikos only with our voice!
