A great victory with an upset for Panachaiki who prevailed over Tilikratis 2-1 in the 19th game of the B’ group, passing them by one point, in the “battle” to avoid relegation from Super League 2!
The first half was split, with the Achaeans coming in stronger and missing a great chance to open the scoring in the 14th minute. When from a terrible ball by Baxevanou for Patrinos, the latter made the spot but Tzelepis chased away with his feet…
While they were unlucky in the 25th minute as Gaitanidis’ shot stopped at the right post of Tzelepis and was then cleared by the visitors’ goalkeeper!
After half an hour, however, Tylikratis raised his performance and in the 38th minute he saw Peristeris go four-four with Kolovouris, who defeated him, keeping the score 0-0.
In the very next phase, however, Terzis “hanged” Kolovouris with a long shot, making it 0-1 at the same time!
The second half, on the contrary, did not have so many… emotions, while there were also many changes on both sides. With Panachaiki, however, managing to equalize…
As Perez turned from the left, the ball found its way into the hands of Hadjiterzoglou, a penalty was awarded and Masouras, with an accurate execution, tied the match in the 69th minute!
From that point on, in fact, the hosts increased their pressure to achieve the total upset, they managed to have 14 corners won but without capitalizing on them.
Finally, redemption came two minutes before the end, when from Petratos’ free kick, Zamora made it 2-1 for Panachaiki with a header!
