A team’s jerseys are an integral part of football and they are adored by young and old. A lot of people get into the habit of buying their favorite team’s kit every year, while others collect and try to get a different one every time. The only thing that is certain, however, is that every sports fan has, at least, a jersey in his room, with the teams having understood that the income they get from the sales of appearances it is huge!
The agreements of world class clubs with the leading brands of the market have reached other levels and how else could it be, since the revenues they have are impressive, especially in recent years.
UEFA’s financial report revealed in the past few days the amounts that clubs put into their coffers from their jerseys and trade, with the Barcelona to be the absolute ruler in the first place with revenues touching the 179 million euros!
In second place the “queen”, Real Madridwhich puts in its coffers about 155 million euros, while third is Bayern Munich with revenues at 147 million euros.
In the top ten there are five English teams (Liverpool, Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham), one French team which could not be other than Paris Saint Germainwhile Juventus stands out from Italy.
In detail, the 10 teams with the highest revenue from appearance sales:
1. Barcelona – 179 million euros
2. Real Madrid – €155 million
3. Bayern Munich – €147 million
4. Liverpool – €132 million
5. Manchester United – €130 million
6. Paris Saint-Germain – 97 million euros
7. Arsenal – €89 million
8. Chelsea – €87 million
9. Juventus – 74 million euros
10. Tottenham – 74 million euros
