Available electronically through gov.gris from today the “Student’s Certificate of Attendance” in a school, after Joint Ministerial Decision of the Ministers of Education, Religion and Sports, Kyriakos Pierrakakis and Digital Governance, Dimitris Papastergiou.

Concerned guardians and adult studentsthrough a simple and friendly process they can issue the certificate of attendance electronically in a primary or secondary school and receive it in their personal citizen mailbox at my.gov.gr, easily and without unnecessary paperwork.

The service can be accessed either directly on gov.gr or in the section “Education” and in the sub-section “Enrolment in school”.

To issue the student certificate, interested parties connect to TaxisNet with their personal passwords and issue the certificate, without being required to fill in any other information.

The certificate issued bears the validity characteristics of gov.grthat is, a unique code number in alphanumeric format and in QR format, as well as an advanced electronic signature of the Ministry of Digital Governance and is valid when it is circulated both as an electronic document and as a paper document.

It is worth noting that this certificate is used in a number of Public Administration procedures, such as indicatively:

  • Minimum Guaranteed Income
  • Housing Allowance
  • Child benefit
  • Postponement of ranking of secondary and higher education students and Post-secondary Education Centers
  • Reimbursement for hearing aids for public school students

The service was designed and developed by the Ministries of Education, Religion & Sports and Digital Governance and their Agencies: the Institute of Computer Technology and Publications (I.T.Y.E.), the General Secretariat of Information Systems and Digital Governance and the National Network of Technology and Research Infrastructures (EDYTE SA – GRNET). Citizens’ data is collected through the Interoperability Center of the General Secretariat of Information Systems and Digital Governance of the Ministry of Digital Governance.
