Mike James sees Panathinaikos AKTOR in the Final Four

For Monaco: “We’re playing well at the right time, we’ve had an impressive run of late, beating great teams. We hit our lowest point earlier in the season. It seems that each of us has found our place and we are doing our job. Many times it doesn’t go spectacularly, but we do our job every day.”

For Barcelona: “I think I have a strange image of Barcelona because we have had a strange fight with them. They were bad against us and I don’t have a good picture of them. I have seen them in other games and they are impressive. Barcelona might be in my top4 because they have a lot of veterans. They play well together, they play a good style of basketball, and while they don’t have a formidable star player, they make up for it by playing more as a team. Veseli is playing great this year, Laprovitola is good and Jabari is better than he gets credit for. And so, they have the regular players doing the work. Kalinic, Satoransky and the addition of Rubio will help them. They’ve been consistent all year.”

For the Panathinaikos ACTOR: “Basically, they’ve been playing well since Kendrick Nunn went there. They play defense, hard and as a team. They are in a good rhythm, they play well with the ball, they “beat” people, they make free three-pointers and they play as a unit”.
