AEK informed about the day… of the take-off of the balloon it built to celebrate the 100 years since its foundation.
Of course, she will be on April 13, birthday of the “Union”. The take-off, however, will take place from OPAP Arenawith the “yellow and black” announcing that they are preparing an unrepeatable experience – which will start in the early afternoon and will culminate in the late afternoon – for all who will have the opportunity to experience it up close.
In fact, PAE AEK addressed call to the friends of the groupin order for them to propose their ideas for the slogan of that glorious day for the club. She already revealed some of her ideas, noting that the name of the “godfather” or “godmother” of the slogan will be announced and if he/she wishes, he/she will fly in the hot air balloon!
It should be recalled, after all, that the “yellow and black” PAE has sent an invitation to the world of the team and for the Museum of History of the club, showing in this way that she wants him by her side, let alone on that historic day. Specifically, to send photos that reflect their relationship with AEK, so that they can be placed in a special area in the museum.

The day of AEK’s hundredth birthday is approaching. On April 13, our great love, the Athletic Union of Constantinople, our AEK, completes its 100 years of life. This whole year is a year of celebration for the one century of life of our club, but this particular day will be special.
On April 13th, the AEK Balloon, the AEK 100 Year Balloon will take off from our stadium, from the OPAP Arena in New Philadelphia, which will travel across the country in 2024 and will be the focus of our 100th celebrations years at the points where it will land throughout Greece.
On April 13, a big celebration, with many special events, will take place outside and inside the OPAP Arena. It will start early in the afternoon and culminate in the late afternoon with the balloon taking off from the stadium. We intend for it to be, and will be, an unrepeatable experience for everyone who will have the opportunity to live it up close.
We decided that the slogan for the celebration of that day, but also for all the celebrations that will follow during the year, should be given to us by you, the people of AEK. You who are AEK. “100 years of AEK… and the journey continues”, “Look up! 100 years of AEK… we look up!”, “100 years… we fly high together! 100 years of AEK!”, are some ideas that have already been brought to our attention in the past, but we want more.
