Milenkoski: “We are not outsiders, we have to play our best volley”

The coach of PAOK, Josko Milenkoski, emphasized that his team will have to play their best volleyball against Olympiakos in order to qualify for the final of the Men’s Volleyball Cup Final Four.

According to Josko Milenkoski, PAOK needs to put up its best performance in order to overcome the formidable, as he described, Olympiakos and qualify for the final of the Men’s Volleyball Cup.

Speaking at the usual press conference for the Final-4 held in Larisa, the Serbian coach pointed out that the “two-headed team of the North” is not an outsider, but at the same time gave the rest of the participating teams the title of favorite.

“We are very happy to be here. We come as the fourth team in the league. We are not underdogs, but we leave the title of favorite to the rest. We are ready to fight. We want to go to the final, but to do that we have to beat a great team like Olympiacos. It won’t be easy. We have to play our best volley and we’ll see what happens,” Milenkoski said.

On the other hand, representing the PAOK players, Yiannis Takouridis said: “We thank the Region of Thessaly and the Municipality of Larissa for the hospitality and the organization. I wish for a good Final-4, two good semi-finals and a strong final. May all the athletes have our health and present a nice spectacle for the people who will watch the games.

PAOK claims every title in all competitions. In the Cup the chances are equal for all teams. We, as last year’s winners, will defend our title, but this does not give us any extra stress. It’s a new challenge, we will do what we can, focused on claiming the qualification to the final and if everything goes well the trophy once again”.
