Fortounis: “Huge opportunity, we are ready for the first step”

In the usual press conference ahead of the Olympiacos-Fenerbahce on Thursday (11/04, 19:45) spoke o Kostas Fortounis.

The ace of the “red and white” commented on tomorrow’s match stressing that it is a historical challenge for his team, while when asked how he came back so impressively with two serious injuries, the 31-year-old answered that he has promised his son to see him play as before.

Asked if Olympiacos is better with the team that played with Fener two and a half years ago, he answered: “I hope we are better so we can push and qualify. The team is different, different coach, different players. The team this season is very well trained, we are stepping firmly on our feet, but the opponent is also better now.
